Directions – Springmill Playing Fields

Please note: There is a carpark at the end of the road past the playing fields. Please park responsibly and respectfully with other facility users and neighbouring businesses in mind.

Directions:

From centre of Ossett – From Ossett Town AFC, drive past the Gulf Petrol Station on your left and turn left at the traffic lights onto Towngate. Follow the road to the bottom and turn left onto Queens Drive. Take an immediate left where you see a sign for Springmill Golf Course. Drive up the hill to the car park.

From the M1 Junction 40 – Head towards Wakefield on the A638. Take a right turn at the traffic lights onto Queens Drive when you see the Holiday Inn. As you drive underneath the M1, look on the right for signs to Springmill Golf Course. Turn right and drive up the hill to the car park.

From Dewsbury – At the main Ossett roundabout at top of A638 take the bypass towards the M1. Cross over the M1 towards Wakefield and take a right turn at the traffic lights onto Queens Drive when you see the Holiday Inn. As you drive underneath the M1, look on the right for signs to Springmill Golf Course. Turn right and drive up the hill to the car park..

Directions – Haggs Hill, Queens Drive
There isn’t an address as such for Haggs Hill – however, it’s behind Haggs Hill Farm who’s address is: Haggs Hill Farm, Queens Drive, Ossett, Wakefield, WF5 0NR.

As you drive down Queens Drive from the M1 side, go past the Holiday Inn on your left. Drive past the football pitches also on your left (Thornes Juniors) and go under motorway bridge and immediately park up and you will see a path down the side of the motorway with Haggs Hill Farm on your right. Walk 100yds down the path and you’ll find the pitches.
